James Madison Speech Writing Competition

Every Spring, Providence Christian College hosts a unique scholarship opportunity: The James Madison Speech Writing Competition.

This is an exclusive event for prospective Providence Witherspoon Honors Program students to compete for a full tuition scholarship.

Competition participants will submit both the written text and oral delivery of a 3-5 minute speech on an assigned topic.

The James Madison Speech Writing Competition is a special opportunity to meet current and future Providence Witherspoon Honors Program students and experience our campus in the heart of Pasadena.

Housing is available on campus for all competitors. The competition is only open to Witherspoon applicants. In order to compete, follow the application steps below.
